VIRTUAL PRIVATE CLOUDS
Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) is a customer-tailored IaaS solution, suitable for businesses with demanding computing, storage and networking needs, that could not be satisfied by commodity Cloud services and shared hosting solutions.
DGM's VPC service is based on our Virtual Data Center (VDC) utilizing high-performance, scalable and highly-available shared hardware platform, virtualized with state-of-the-art server, network and storage hypervisors.
DGM's VDC is powered by VMware vSphere(tm), Datacore SANSymphony-V(tm) and other high-end infrastructure virtualization layers.
DGM's VDC hosts multiple isolated Virtual Private Clouds dedicated to different customers:
- Each VPC provides isolated computing, network and storage resources, grouped in Virtual Resource Pools (VRP).
- Each VRP contains dedicated vCPUs, vRAM, vDisks and vNICs, assigned to one or multiple Virtual Machines (VMs) running within the pool.
- Each VM could be provisioned with a variety of Opeating Systems - Windows, Linux, Solaris, MacOS X.
Each customer could have multiple VPRs (including nested VPRs within its VPC. Capacity and parameters of each VRP and each VM can be changed on-demand, at any time.
