DGM has been founded in 2006 and since then have completed successfully complex projects for various SME, large enterprise and government customers.

DGM develops and operates its own Virtual Data Center (VDC) and provides “Virtual-Private-Cloud-as-a-Service” (VPC) and “Hybrid-Private-Cloud-as-a-Service” (HPC) solutions.

VISION

We are witnessing yet another consecutive paradigm shift in the way organizations and individuals perform their computing and information processing - moving from in-house IT infrastructures towards computing purchased as a service in the “Cloud”.

Computing is set to become a pervasive commodity and any bindings to physical locations are to be broken. The shift is being accelerated by virtualization technologies that are capable of pooling physical computing, network and storage resources, thus allowing for their controllable sharing, among multiple independent and isolated customers.

While there are many Cloud services available today, most of them are designed from the ground-up as commodity services. Every service provider and vendor has different definition for “Cloud”, but despite all the claims and hypes, there are still many ambiguities hampering the adoption of the Cloud concept.

DGM’s vision is that apart from the commodity market, there are always “Blue Oceans” and customers that need “specialty” services, as their needs could not fit into the “one-size-fits-all” concept of the commodity Cloud providers.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

DGM could not compete “on size” with large scale Cloud services like Amazon EC2 or Microsoft Azure™, but instead we could compete on innovation, flexibility and suitability for special customer needs.

Recent developments and trends in GPGPU computing, SSD technologies and storage virtualization and HPC interconnects offer unique opportunities for enhancing the state-of-the-art and providing Hybrid Private Cloud solutions for customers that need extreme performance and cost-efficiency for processing large data sets in real-time or near-real-time.

DGM is actively researching novel hybrid “Scale-In/Scale-Out” architectures and approaches for delivering High Performance Computing solutions in the Cloud.
